ARTIFACT: This is a scarce circa 1920s or 1930s American Red Cross First Aid medal awarded to Marjorie Miler. The medallion has a red enameled cross at center and hangs from a bar via chain links. It comes on its original manufacturer's card. Another ARC medal for life saving from the same period came to us along with Ms. Miller's medal (please see link at bottom for page for information).

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s-1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 1"in width; card: 2-5/8" by 1-7/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Bronze, enamel, oaktag card.

ATTACHMENT: Suspension ring, chain, horizontal pin on bar with tongue-style catch.

MARKINGS: "Marjorie Miler" written on card, Standard Emblem Company, Inc. 7 Beverly Street Providence R.I.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an American Red Cross collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX14 LAIEX6/14 SVAIEX03/20

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The medal has some small areas of light wear and tarnish; card has some minor creasing.
