This is a dated 1920 American Red Cross First Aid medal named to Samuel (Trevor) Garman. Garman was a famous zoologist and naturalist from Pennsylvania, and was presented with this medal seven years before his death in 1927.
VINTAGE:Circa 1920.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Bronze, enamel, brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin on bar with tongue-style catch, suspension ring.
MARKINGS:MAY 8th 1920 on reverse; SAMUEL GARMAN on bar.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The medal shows some light wear and handsome tarnish; all enamel is intact.
