ARTIFACT: This is an American Red Cross service medal from World War I. The medallion reads SERVICE AMERICAN RED CROSS with a raised red cross at center and hangs from a blue ribbon with two thin white stripes.

VINTAGE: Circa World War I.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in height and 1-3/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass with enamel, silk ribbon, brass pin.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin on bar with Tiffany-style catch.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an American Red Cross collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX06 VFJX12/10 SFJX12/13

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The ribbon shows some light wear and there is minor tarnish on the reverse of the medal.
