ARTIFACT: This is a rare 14 karat gold pin that was given to an employee with 50 years of service by the New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad (N.Y., N.H. & H.). The N.Y., N.H. & H. operated from 1872 until 1968. The pin's design shows a winged hourglass above an enameled center and a diamond chip.

VINTAGE: Circa 1950s.

SIZE: About 5/8" in height and 9/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: 14 karat gold with blue and white enamel and a diamond.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS: 14K LGB (Balfour mark).

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The pin is in beautiful shape and has only a slight tarnish.
