This is a great circa 1890s New York, New Haven & Hartford (N.Y., N.H. & H.) Railroad police badge. The N.Y., N.H. & H operated from 1872 until 196The shield-shaped badge has a finely etched border and a maker mark on reverse from the American Railway Supply Company of New York.

Circa 1890s.

Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

Nickel-plated.

Vertical kick pin with C catch.
