Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a pen/pencil holder made from a piece of the deck of the USS Missouri, the ship upon which the terms for the Japanese surrender were reached on September 2, 1945.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

1-1/2" height and 6-5/8" width and 3-5/8" depth.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Teak wood with felted bottom and plated brass plaque.
