ARTIFACT: This is a great USS Hawkbill (SSN-666) submarine patch. The Hawkbill was launched at Vallejo, California on April 12, 1969. She was decommissioned on March 15, 2000.

VINTAGE: Circa 1980s.

SIZE: About 4" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered with cotton embroidery thread.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 9- (Excellent+): The patch shows very minor wear and aging.
