ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful submarine patch for the USS Parche (SSN-683) bearing the logo "Par Excellence". The Parche was launched at Pascagoula, Mississippi on January 13, 197She was decommissioned in 2004.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1980s.

SIZE:

About 5-1/8" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered with cotton/polyester thread, muslin backing.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS:

None.
