ARTIFACT:

This is a beautiful USS Connecticut (SSN-22) submarine patch. The Connecticut was launched at Groton, Connecticut on September 1, 199The patch bears the ship's motto: ARSENAL OF THE NATION.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1980s.

SIZE:

About 4" in width by 4-3/4" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Twill embroidered in cotton embroidery thread, vinyl backing.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS:

None.
