This is an early USS Hornet lapel pin.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:About 1-5/8" in width by 5/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal kick-pin with a "come-under" locking catch.
MARKINGS:None.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a large collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBJX06 LEJX SEJX3/14
CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Minor wear and tarnishing; locking part of catch is slightly bent but still usable.
