This is a pair of United States Army 7th Artillery distinctive insignia with collar brass. The DIs show wild boar heads at the top of a decorated shield and read NUMQUAM AERUMNA NEC PROELIO FRACTUM (Never Broken by Hardship or Battle) and the insignia show an X formation with the number 7.
VINTAGE:Circa Korean War.
SIZE:DI: 1-1/2" height and 1-1/8" width; each brass: 3/4" height and 1-5/16" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with red enamel; brass.
ATTACHMENT:Double posts with clutch-back catches.
MARKINGS:Catches have PAT. numbers.
