This is an Australian-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 147th Field Artillery Battalion. This insignia shows a crest in a similar design to the Australian flag with some stars and desert flora.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:1-3/8" height and 1-1/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with red, white and blue enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical T-style pin with "C" catch.
MARKINGS:BISHOP BRISANE.
