German-Made DI for US Army 5th Field Artillery Regiment

This is a German-made distinctive insignia for the United States Army 5th Field Artillery Regiment. The DI is a tree bearing the word THROUGH framed by a red ring reading FAITHFUL AND TRUE.

Circa World War II era.

1-1/16" diameter.

Plated brass with enameled areas.

Vertical safety-style pin.
