Description

ARTIFACT:

This is an unmarked silver Scottish badge for the Cameron Highlanders. The badge was made in the 19th century in the pre-1745 style, showing a knight's arm raised to strike with a sword and reading PRO REGE ET PATRIA (for King and country).

VINTAGE:

Circa 19th century.

SIZE:

2-3/8" height and 2-5/16" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Silver.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal T-style pin with "C" catch.
