ARTIFACT: Nice Korean War United States Army 31st Infantry Regiment DI, made in Japan. The DI is a polar bear, an insignia chosen for the regiment's original tour of duty in Siberia, and reads "PRO PATRIA" (for one's country).

VINTAGE: Circa Korean War

SIZE: Approximately 1-1/2" x 1-1/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enamel, chrome-plated brass

ATTACHMENT: Double posts with two clutchbacks

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army DI collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCX16 LDEX11/16

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The DI shows minor wear, nearly all the enamel details remain intact, overall excellent condition.
