This is a nice old circa 1940s or 1950s Western Coventry Fire District Deputy Chief plate topper from Greene, Rhode Island. The Fire District was incorporated in January 1942 and serviced a 15 square mile area bordering on Connecticut. The topper is in painted aluminum and is nice condition.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940s-1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 6-3/4" in height and 9" in width and 1/8" in thickness.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Painted aluminum.
ATTACHMENT:Slots for attachment.
MARKINGS:None.
