Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a nice old circa 1940s or 1950s Western Coventry Fire District Deputy Chief plate topper from Greene, Rhode Island. The Fire District was incorporated in January 1942 and serviced a 15 square mile area bordering on Connecticut. The topper is in painted aluminum and is nice condition.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1940s-1950s.

SIZE:

Approximately 6-3/4" in height and 9" in width and 1/8" in thickness.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Painted aluminum.

ATTACHMENT:

Slots for attachment.
