Description
This is a nice old circa 1950s Malden, Massachusetts Fire Department Assistant Chief helmet plate. Malden is a suburb of the Commonwealth's capital city, Boston. The plate is in hand-painted leather, in vibrant gold and red. It is maker marked upon the hardware on reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 6-1/8" in height and 4-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Hand-painted leather, brass.
ATTACHMENT:Holes, riveted short band.
MARKINGS:5 painted at bottom reverse; CAIRNS & BRO. on band.
