This is a circa 1940's - 1950's Somerset County, Maine, Special Deputy Sheriff badge in silver-plated nickel. The small badge is numbered 59 and shows the Seal of the State of Maine at center. Bordering on the Canadian province of Quebec, Somerset County's county seat is at Skowhegan.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940's - 1950's.
SIZE:Approximately 1-11/16" in height x 1" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Silver-plated nickel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with tongue-style C catch.
MARKINGS:None.
