Description

ARTIFACT:

Large, beautiful 1940's Adams County, Colorado Deputy Sheriff Badge #The center of the starburst style badge features a brass State Seal of Colorado, which pictures the "the eye of God" in a triangle with Roman fascia below. The top of the shield shows three of Colorado's mountains and the lower half depicts miner's tools, a pick and sledge hammer, crossed. At the base of the shield reads the state motto "Nil Sine Numine" Latin for "nothing without the Deity". The badge has an eagle perched on the top and letters reading: "DEPUTY SHERIFF ADAMS COUNTY 6" surround the state seal in black painted detail.

Chrome plated brass, brass, and paint

Vertical pin with drop in swivel locking catch.
