ARTIFACT: This is a nice 1930's US Army 2nd Coast Artillery Regiment Division Insignia or Unit Crest. The circular insignia depicts a bird over an "X" and on the ring around the bird reads "FIDUS ULTRA FINEM" which translates roughly to "Faithful to the End.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's

SIZE: About 1-1/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled Brass.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with come-under locking catch.

MARKINGS: "N.S. MEYER NEW YORK."

ITEM NOTES: This is from a US Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MAX17 LCHX10/17 SCHX04/20

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): Light wear with nice patina and tarnish.
