Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 16th Coast Artillery Regiment. The DI has a background of red, white and blue stripes with two crossed spears at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930's.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/8" in height x 15/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization pins.

MARKINGS:

None.

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows only light wear and tarnish.
