This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States Army 16th Coast Artillery Regiment. The DI has a background of red, white and blue stripes with two crossed spears at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930's.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height x 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing, two stabilization pins.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows only light wear and tarnish.
