Description
ARTIFACT:
This is a NASA Apollo VII Beta Cloth Mission Emblem. The mission launched October 11, 1968 with crew members Schirra, Eisele and Cunningham. Apollo 7 was the first manned mission in the Apollo program to be launched. It was an eleven-day earth-orbital mission, the first manned launch of the Saturn IB launch vehicle, and the first three-man American space mission.

About 7-1/2" in width by 7-1/2" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:
Printed Beta Cloth, the same material used for the outer skin of the space suits.
ATTACHMENT:
To be sewn onto Spacesuit.

CONDITION:
9 (Excellent-Near Mint): In wonderful condition, uncut; some residue left on outer edges of cloth apparently from being taped to something at one time (see image below).
