This is a 1948-1949 Somerville, Massachusetts Board of Aldermen badge.
VINTAGE:Circa 1949-1949.
SIZE:2-1/16" height and 1-1/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with black painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:PAUL I. MCCARTHY ALDERMAN AT LARGE.
