This is a LARGE circa 1930s or 1940s Auxiliary Police hat badge from Somerville, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston. The badge has a raised Seal of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s-1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/4" in height and 1-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing, stabilization post.
MARKINGS:None.
