This is a circa 1930s or 1940s Special Police badge from Chelmsford, Massachusetts. The badge has the Seal of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s or 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-3/8" in height and 1-11/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass, enamel, painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin on bar with forked locking catch.
MARKINGS:None.
