This is a circa 1930s or 1940s Supervisor of Attendance (truant officer) badge from the Lowell Public Schools District of Lowell, Massachusetts. The oval badge is nicely engraved with a decorative detail at center.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s-1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-9/16" in height and 2-1/4' in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal kick pin with C catch.
MARKINGS:None.
