ARTIFACT:

This is a 1930s-1940s Massachusetts Reformatory Officer badge. The badge reads MASS. REFORMATORY STATE OF MASSACHUSETTS and shows the State of Massachusetts seal at center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s-1940s.

SIZE:

2-1/2" height and 1-3/4" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with painted letters.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with "C" catch.

CONDITION:

7- (Very Fine-): Badge is bent a bit at top and some parts of painted letters have worn away.
