Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1930s or 1940s Darien, Connecticut Police badge. The badge has an applied "57" at its center and, as I've seen a few times before, the kick pin is on backwards.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s-1940s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-13/16" in height and 2-1/4" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin (pin was put on backwards) with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

None.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a Connecticut police and law enforcement badge collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCJX13 LADEX11/13 SABEX3/14

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The badge has some small spots of light wear and a few specks of oxidation.
