This is a circa 1930s Springfield, Massachusetts police badge. The badge has the seal of the town of Springfield at its center with the arm of Miles Standish at the top. It is numbered upon reverse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:About 2-15/16" in height and 2-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.
MARKINGS:168 stamped on reverse.
