ARTIFACT: This is a 1930s police badge from Saugus, Massachusetts. The badge shows the seal of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at center and reads POLICE 47 SAUGUS.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930s.

SIZE: 2" height and 1-7/16" width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel-plated brass with painted lettering.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin with missing catch.

MARKINGS: S. W. SPENCER MFG CO. BOSTON.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a police badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. RONBEX90 LEJX6/10 SEJX5/12

CONDITION: 6- (Fine): Badge has heavy wear and spots of tarnish and the catch is missing.
