Circa 1957 Lowell, Massachusetts Retired Police Lt. Badge Name Etched on Reverse

This is a circa 1957 Retired Police Lieutenant badge from Lowell, Massachusetts. The name of the original owner is etched on the reverse: Walter L. Kivlan. Kivlan was appointed on December 30, 1915 and retired on May 12, 195The badge is in the clamshell style with a city seal at center and the Arm of Miles Standish at the top.

Circa 1957.

Approximately 2-1/16" in height and 1-7/16" in width.

Gilt brass, painted lettering.

Vertical pin on bar with drop-in locking swivel catch.
