This is a mid-1930s United States Army Air Forces Bolling Field Detachment distinctive insignia (DI) pin. The pin is round and shows the dome of the Capitol Building against a blue background.
VINTAGE:Circa mid-1930s.
SIZE:About 1" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.
