This is a 1930's to World War II United States Air Force celluloid button for Mitchel Field, Long Island in New York. The pin reads ARMY MITCHEL FIELD PROTECTS US EMERGENCY RELIEF and is a light purple color from some fading.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930's to World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid-wrapped tin.
ATTACHMENT:Straight pin.
MARKINGS:None.
