This is a circa late World War II patch-type distinctive insignia for the United States 43rd Infantry Division. The insignia is a red four-leaf clover with a black leaf at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa late World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height and 1-1/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The DI shows little wear and has some areas of discoloration to the enamel.
