This is a late Vietnam War (circa 1973) United States Army Special Forces Task Force 1 Medical Section pocket patch. The patch was hand-made in Vietnam. It shows a skull wearing a beret gracing the center of a caduceus. Behind the caduceus are a syringe and a bloody scalpel.
VINTAGE:Circa 1973.
SIZE:Approximately 3-3/4" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Cotton embroidered in silk/cotton threads, cotton backing with sheen.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto uniform.
MARKINGS:None.
