ARTIFACT: This is a paperback copy of an early Vietnam War era United States Army book on the Special Forces. The articles in the book deal with the history of the Special Forces and the increasing emphasis placed upon that elite group during the period, as well as the guerilla forces of other countries. The booklet is oversized and has several black-and-white photographs and some one-color illustrations. It was published in 1962 by the United States Government Printing Office.

VINTAGE: Published 1962 (early Vietnam War).

SIZE: 142 pages; approximately 11-1/4" in height and 9-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Card stock cover, glossy paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: U.S. GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE: 1962 O-636806.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The book has some small spots of wear to the cover and some minor creasing of some of the corners of the pages inside.
