Late 1960s USAF 97th Air Refueling Squadron AREFS Jacket Patch Thai-Made Vietnam Era

This is a circa late 1960s jacket patch for the United States Air Force 97th Air Refueling Squadron (97th AREFS). The 97th AREFS was active in Vietnam and Southeast Asia from 1965 until 197The embroidered cotton patch illustrates a refueling mission and reads "Always There".

Circa late 1960s.

Approximately 2-7/8" in height and 4-1/2" in width.

Cotton embroidered cotton/silk/polyester threads, mesh backing.

To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.
