This is a circa late 1950's twenty-five years of service pin for the Boston Globe newspaper. The pin is gold-filled and is by Robbins Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts. The pin shows the Globe's rotund gentleman character at its center and its enameled border reads QUARTER CENTURY BOSTON GLOBE.
VINTAGE:Circa late 1950's.
SIZE:Approximately 9/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-filled with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS:1/10-10K "r" (Robbins Co. maker mark).
