Circa 1950s USDA (US Dept. of Agriculture) 25 Years of Service Lapel Pin

This is a circa 1950s sterling silver employee lapel pin for twenty-five years of service with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), an entity created during the Civil War. The badge shows a small eagle at the top and has enameled details.

Circa 1950s.

Approximately 9/16" in height and 1/2" in width.

Sterling silver, enamel.

Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
