This is a circa 1950s employee lapel pin for ten years of service with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), an entity created during the Civil War. The pin shows a small eagle at the top and has enameled details.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 9/16" in height and 1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Copper-plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.
