ARTIFACT:
This is a beautiful and large circa 1956-1957 jacket patch for the United States Air Force 608th AC&W (Aircraft Control and Warning) Squadron. The 608th was stationed at Paengyong-do Airfiel, in South Korea. The patch is Japanese-made, and it shows an eagle with a searchlight projecting from its eye.

Circa 1956-1957.
SIZE:
Patch: approximately 5-3/8" in diameter
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Patch: fully embroidered in cotton/silk/polyester, twill backing
ATTACHMENT:
To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch shows little wear and has some spots of minor discoloration on the reverse only.
