Large Ca 1929 Edinburgh Date-Marked Sterling Silver Badge for the Clan Sinclair

This is a circa 1929 sterling silver badge for the Clan Sinclair, a family from the Scottish Highlands. The badge is large and shows a rooster at its center, a nod to the clan's Norman lineage. The bird is encircled by the Sinclair motto: Commit thy Work to God. The badge has nice clear maker, date and place marks stamped upon the reverse.

Circa 1929.

Approximately 1-7/8" in height by 1-9/16" in width.

Sterling silver.

Horizontal T-style pin with C catch.

T.E. maker mark and Edinburgh marks: thistle, castle and Y.
