ARTIFACT: 6eme RANA (Regiment Artillerie Nord-Africaine) garrisoned in Lyon, around 1939-1940. It consisted of three horse-drawn 75mm batteries and one anti-tank battery; it was assigned with the 6eme Division Infanterie Nord-Africaine.

The badge is by Augis of Lyons and is a handsomely wrought Pegasus in flight.

VINTAGE: Circa 1939-1940.

SIZE: Approximately 1-5/16" in height and 1-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT: Diagonal pin with safety-style catch.

MARKINGS: A. AUGIS LYON.

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows some light to medium wear and an overall tarnish.
