ARTIFACT:
6eme RANA (Regiment Artillerie Nord-Africaine) garrisoned in Lyon, around 1939-1940. It consisted of three horse-drawn 75mm batteries and one anti-tank battery; it was assigned with the 6eme Division Infanterie Nord-Africaine.

The badge is by Augis of Lyons and is a handsomely wrought Pegasus in flight.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1939-1940.
SIZE:
Approximately 1-5/16" in height and 1-1/2" in width.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Silver-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:
Diagonal pin with safety-style catch.
