This is a 1940s distinctive insignia for the United States 121st Field Artillery Regiment. The DI is a crest bearing a red arrow and six golden fleur-de-lis. The DI has a badger at its top and reads CATERVAE FERREAE (of the brigade of iron).
VINTAGE:Circa 1940s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/16" in height 13/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The DI shows some light wear and has a handsome tarnish.
