ARTIFACT:

This is a 1930s distinctive insignia for the United States 121st Field Artillery Regiment. The DI is a crest bearing a red arrow and six golden fleur-de-lis. The DI has a badger at its top and reads CATERVAE FERREAE (of the brigade of iron).

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/16" in height 13/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass with enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing, 2 stabilization teeth.

MARKINGS:

None.

ITEM NOTES:

This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months VAL90 LAHX10/11

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The DI shows light wear and tarnish there are one or two very small pieces of enamel missing.
