This is a World War II United States Navy VB-7 jacket patch. The squadron served aboard the USS Hancock CV-1The patch is a black pentagon edged in gold with an upturned golden horseshoe and a missile at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 4" in height and 4-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool felt embroidered in silk/cotton threads with mesh backing.
