Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a great, very first issue World War II United States Army Air Force flight nurse wing in gilt brass. The wing shows a caduceus with an N flanked by a pair of spread wings.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1943.

SIZE:

2" wing.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Two pins with clutch-back catches.

MARKINGS:

ACID TEST on pin; discs have patent numbers.

ITEM NOTES:
