This is a nice circa early 1943 United States Army Air Forces flight surgeon wing by Meyer. The wing is in gilt brass and has a caduceus at its center.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II (early 1943).
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height by 3-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under swivel locking catch.
MARKINGS:Engraved MEYER shield maker mark.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): Most of the gilding to the front of the wing has been lost due to period polishing.
