This is a stunning first type World War II (circa 1943) United States Army Air Force flight surgeon wing in gilt sterling by Balfour. The wing shows a caduceus flanked by a pair of spread wings.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II (1943).
SIZE:3-1/8" wing.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt sterling.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under swivel catch.
MARKINGS:BALFOUR 1/10 10K GF and LGB 1/10 10K GF.
