This is a great, large, World War II United States Navy USN Patrol Squadron VP-23 / Patrol Bombing Squadron VPB-23 jacket patch designed by Walt Disney studios. The patch shows the "Big, Bad, Wolf" character diving through the night sky with a Bomb in his fangs toward an unsuspecting ship.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 7-5/8" in height and 4-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Twill embroidered in silk/cotton threads with mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.
MARKINGS:BURNS written on reverse.
